Buy a Pénichette 950 E and receive a guaranteed monthly income
Locaboat proposes an ownership programme for the innovative Pénichette P950 Evolution, developed jointly by Locaboat and Linssen and made by Linssen at their Maasbracht boatyard.
Your newly built boat would become part of the Locaboat self-drive fleet, providing a guaranteed monthly income for seven years, with no maintenance costs and either two or four weeks free use of the boat for vacations.
New Pénichettes
You commission a brand new 950 Evolution, which will be built by Linssen during the winter months, for delivery early in April. The boat’s specification and details will match the full quality standard for others in the Locaboat self-drive fleet.
The purchase price is 240,000€ excluding taxes. This is payable in four instalments from deposit, through construction and fitting-out to handover.
Charter Income
Your Pénichette is hired out, professionally maintained and looked-after by Locaboat for seven years. With some exceptions (*see below) you are relieved of all expenses and worries about owning the boat.
In return you receive a guaranteed, fixed, annual income of 9,000€ paid quarterly, regardless of the number of self-drive bookings the boat experiences.
Guaranteed residual value
After seven years you can –
- Collect and keep the boat solely for your own use
- Extend the rental management contract, subject to conditions
- Sell the boat to Locaboat at 50% of its purchase value – i.e. 120,000€ excluding taxes
Holiday Use
You have free unrestricted use of your boat from your home base – or any other Pénichette Evolution in the Locaboat fleet from another base. Alternatively, you have the option to choose another Locaboat model with a price adjustment.
You have use for two weeks in high season or four weeks in mid season.
*You will be liable for fuel and insurance etc. costs during your use.
Overheads Included
Professional maintenance, mooring and licence fees and insurance are all included. Your boat will be maintained to the most rigorous standards at no extra cost. Your boat will also be in pristine condition and fully prepared each time you cruise.
